lots of people named bubba
people in s.c.
`
an hour later
mother- in -law said errin

`
we burst out laughing
i forgot my own uncle
lived to ninety three.
`
went to citadel
general westmoreland’s class
sent laotion gifts.
`
favorite pen pal
always made whisky sour
it was just sour.
This gave me smiles. My sister and my niece call me uncle Bubba, and my name isn’t even Bubba.
LOL neither was my uncle’s…
The laotians gifts was inserted in there where we could ponder them, even when the enemy may ‘deserve’ them, we kind of hate to be rooting for those military types… (just a pacifist, sorry!)
my uncle was in cia. he sent me presents but if i wrote all of them ,it would have been a long haiku.: dancing gold pointy fingers, dolls, beautiful chopsticks -20 pair, umbrellas, velvet shoes……………………………
No Bubba of mine, had a dog called Mugwump, once in a while Bubber…that count?
i always sent him letters and i wrote dear uncle bubber….so that;’s why i forgot he was a bubba…it counts…
Nice. 🙂 “Bubba” makes me think of Joe R Lansdale’s works. He usually manages to fit a Bubba in here and there.
lol.. i don’t know him skull.
This post mad me smile … a joke that turned into a tribute.
thank-you!
