no, this is not a seinfield bit. i looked this up to see ,if other people are having the same problems as i am with using paypal .it would take a million years to read all of the problems people are having…some have lost their businesses.
in 2004,i started using paypal to pay for items at ebay and after a few years ,i started getting fake email saying i bought things like 500.00 tv’s. i sent these to paypal and was told they were fake. a few years ago, i started getting email that also said it was from paypal asking for checking account information…how are you supposed to know what is real and what isn’t. anyway, there is no reason in the world why they need your checking information, so 2 years ago, i started asking sellers if i can send a check and i quit using paypal.
if you don’t give paypal your checking account they will not let you use them, so finally, i open a small account so i can order groceries in myrtle beach, because all of the grocery stores use paypal.had i known that i wouldn’t have come here.last month i spent 2 weeks ,ordering groceries and go to check out and paypal will not let me use them. after i went to all of the ridiculous trouble of opening another account.i finally write paypal and they tell me,now there are more things you have to do, to protect yourself.i don’t know what they are doing , but the last thing they are doing is protecting, or helping me.now she tells me,to protect me, i have to wait for 2 statements from my credit card , where they add a small amount of money to your statement and you tell them the amounts.1.you would starve to death before this happened and 2. there is no mail delivery at this resort in myrtle beach. the p.o. will not deliver mail.
she said you can only spend 2000.00 before you have to link to your checking account , to be protected against someone using your account. really, after 8 years .
they have lost many customers and sellers.i used to buy many items and vitamins and there would be pages and pages, but now there are only a few or none at all.some of the vitamins ,i can’t even find anymore.
there are actually 3 pages ,where people are asking about ebay payment problems ,at paypal community, over the span of 2 years, where no one at paypal even answered their propblem. i couldn’t believe someone finally answered my email.i had the same peoplem.you try to pay and you just keep going in circles for hours and even days,clicking things.then the seller is going to be mad, and you are a nervous wreck.
